I was a financial adviser for 18 years until recently. You can offer any advice you like providing you do not hold yourself out as a financial adviser (when you are not). Just like backyard banter around the BBQ. People can offer whatever advice they like providing you are not intimating you ARE a FINANCIAL ADVISER. So Lopez ... go for your life.
If unsure simply state "I am NOT a financial adviser so do your own research and make up your own mind!"
