I don't think SH were conned I know it for a fact. Why do you think SGH rolled over without any fight to MB? Guidance was only scrapped after the crash not before! Much later AG announced that PSD/SGS was starting to bear fruit. We all now know how untrue that was.
It took two years for SGH to file a fraud claim. During that two year period no mention of fraud was disclosed to the owners of SGH by management. I beleve the real perpetrators of any fraud were committed by the BOD against the owners of the company AKA shareholders.
