Wouldn't say SNN technology has really anything to do with any probabilistic model or theory of probability where randomness plays a role in predicting future events. No! Thinking about Akida and its use in driverless vehicles it's 100% processing SNN video and data (radar, lidar etc) inputs from all around the vehicle. Yes it uses supervised and unsupervised learning IP, BUT no randomness no predicting future events.
You know that all Akida is is a processor. It does has algorithms and learning rules but that's for JAST. It's not a computer because it doesn't compute. So it's correct to say the driverless vehicle must have deterministic control. And it's always been the case that Akida needs to be co located with a GPU or CPU on board the vehicle (or in the cloud) for that.
