    Why is it that if any stock has an unexpected rise of about 50% in a short time period the ASX would be shouting for an explanation from the company, but when there is a fall of about 50% the ASX is not to be seen or heard from

    The ASX must protect the market and watch out for insider trading or reasons for a sudden increase but the same insider trading can likewise be the reason for a similar size large drop so what's different ?
