Loosen up, there are no guarantees in life, all business is about risk, it’s only the degree that varies. The announcement today locks in a cash payment and a royalty stream...fantastic. I doubt IQE would pay millions of dollars and commit to a future royalty stream if it didn’t see value in this technology. No business has a guarantee income and hence profit, we all work very hard each day to the money flowing.
This contract proves to the investment community that SLX is a sound business based on good science. Who knows what other projects they are working on that could revolutionise some other industry, the future is exciting. But the big pot of gold is in the Laser Enrichment, and if the pressures of economics and social necessities put enough force on the politics we could all be singing our way to the bank. Time will tell, and i’m in it to the end.
