In February 2018, China’s exports of rare earths were 4,451 tons, an increase of 35.2% over the same period of last year and a year-on-year increase of 14.4%. The average export unit price was US$8.7/kg, an increase of 41.8% from the same period of last year and an increase of 14.2% from the previous period.
In February 2018, China's total exports of rare earths were 8,341 tons, an increase of 5.9% year-on-year; the average export price was US$8.2/kg, an increase of 23.3% over the same period of last year.
Volume +6% YTD and values well above all but the top of the spike H2 last year.
This thing is really building momentum, NdFeB volumes/values will be interesting to say the least.
