Glad to see someone who understands chemistry.
Any way, you know as well as I do - all Chemistry Students have analyzed Sea Water - and Brine is just concentrated sea water.
And we (chemistry students) have all Extracted Salt from Sea Water and we have all encountered impurities in Sea Water.
No big deal and its not a huge challenge.
Its only when you are measuring parts per millions that you need expensive and precise instruments to do that.
Now, you know as well as I do, when you find Bromine and Iodine, you are "likely" (but not always) find them bonding to elements such as Li, Na, K, Mg and Ca - especially in Sea Water - and due to the fact that they hold opposite charges to Bromine and Iodine.
For those who don't know - Bromine and Iodine don't exist by themselves in sea water. They wanted to be bonded (not always the case, but likely) to your Li, Na, K, Mg and Ca, etc etc etc chemical elements. Refer to the periodic table if you need to.
What I want to know from the company is; what were the other chemical elements that were bonded to these Bromine and Iodine - was it Na, K, Li, Mg or Ca?
So my point is: if they know about high concentration of Bromine and Iodine, they should know about the opposite elements such as Na, K, Li, Mg or Ca that had bonded to these chemicals.
