If think this is a wake up call and perfect test run for our operation to be effected by rain.. as we are effectively just beginning to pump oil and by this time next year we could have 8 times the production, in which case the same flooding would be doing 8x the damage!
All-in-all I hope lessons have been learned and by the time we get all 4 wells pumping at full throttle, this is when such an unprecedented weather play would cost us big bucks.. given we are just a fledging producer the impact has been less than if we were at full production.
Possibly a blessing if we have learnt from this and can take measures to ensure or at least minimise the threat in our future when we are able to product a shed ton of oil and as such would cost us dearly!
RE: Farmin -- love the "Chaired One's" idea of a silent partner who merely finances exploration but it not hands on.. Mitsubishi partnership was is a lesson well learnt for mineand a great reason to not go down that path again. If we were to get an exploration partner id hope it was restricted to green fields or purely the Gas interests. I want Eric to lead us to the promised land, not some random 3rd party whos interests I cannot be sure are aligned with the interests of team BRU.
