Anyone want to chime in with their best guess? If there are multiple large institutions trying to win a private placement with us, I can't see how the negotiations could result in anything less than $15 a share. I mean, by the price action last week, we already know someone initially wanted to buy shares at $10 (what a joke btw, the stock was trading above $10 per share about a week BEFORE results). If other offers have since come in, I have to believe $15 a share private placement is rock bottom. Australia seemed to agree yesterday, with the closing price in Australia equivalent to just about $15 USD (47 cents) on the nose.
$15 USD a share for the private placement honestly is a joke. Should at least be $20 for starters (which is also obscenely low). Company has a $40M market cap with great Phase II results in NASH. As Whittpa has said, when you factor in our stellar Phase II results, two additional liver disease trials which NIH is paying for, our C.Diff. program, Travelan, and Protectyn (which by the ways sales of this would skyrocket in America if they started selling it, given the trial results), our market cap should be at least $300-600M to start.
