Well it's hard to know the details given there is actually no evidence this happened. Like you said it is "supposed"
There was an article claiming this in the Australian but it was based on "unnamed sources". It didn't seem very reliable though because the unnamed sources who the Australian supposedly got this story from claimed that although RFG counts Westpac and NAB as its lenders, NAB has all the exposure. However when RFG increased it's debt facility it got the entirety of the additional sum from Westpac this was mentioned in the 2017 Annual Report. There is no way that NAB can have all the exposure as was stated in the article. So yeah really impossible to determine if there's any truth to that or if it was just more noise
