    1-2% of what though ?

    What is the total Australian Govt spend on Microsoft products per year ?

    2013 - 2016 = A$364 - I guess all this is now addressable by DTL so @ 1% = A$1.2 Mil per year + any higher value add-ons as mentioned by previous posters.

    If the 1% is gross margin then doesn't seem worth the hassle, if 1% net margin then approx 5% of 2017 NPAT. Gross margin 2017 approx 14% - why would they go chasing 1% gross margin business ? My guess is they have a better deal and/or they are chasing value add products.
