    There is plenty to be concerned about with the lastest ASIC prosecutions over rigged interbank lending in Australia.

    Now the focus is on the CBA.
    Prior to privatisation, the CBA was the benchmark of behaviour and standards.
    After privitisation it looks like the situation might have deteriorated for the CBA.
    Apparently the other banks who were prosecuted settled by paying fines.


    Rickards is always an interesting read. I don't agree with all of his assumptions and conclusions, but good to take them into account.

    I think Trump may well pull back from the more extreme moves he's making on tariffs. Already he is signalling Australia may be an exception. It's going to become unworkable.
