EdenCrete is already replacing steel reinforcement in some applications.
They are also working on replacing even more of it through their current research project. I believe that EdenCrete should eventually be able to replace a lot of secondary steel reinforcement. If the price of steel suddenly rises, this research will gain additional traction.
One of our posters “Beton” is far better qualified that I am to give you more info about this subject.
In addition, there are plenty of references to this project in earlier EDE announcements.
