Being very new to investing, today was an eye opener on how quickly a share price can drop! Is 28% in a day something that happens often?
My strategy is long term and I never thought I would sell these (or anything really). However I realised my loss today and sold at $5.15.
I learnt a few lessons with this one!
- No news can be a sign of bad news....
- If I read a report and it looks terrible, act immediately, don't wait to see what the market will do...
- Watch a share for a month and determine a buy in point before purchasing. Never FOMO.
- Trends are real....
However I am still in two minds of what to do next. I'd love to trust the company is making the right moves now and will again be a profitable business. I'd then buy in at at half what I originally paid and add 30 to 40% more shares for the price of my current exit. But that is looking like a pipe dream.
I'm thinking it's time to move on and research something else.
