In January 2018, the export volume of rare earths in China was 3,890 tons, down 15.1% from the same period of last year and down 24.6% from the previous month. The average export price was 7.6 U.S. dollars / kg, up 8.4% over the same period of last year and up 2.0% from the previous quarter.
