This is a massive over reaction by everyone here. This is purely logistics and cost cutting.

The votes this represents is 0.7%. The chances of that actually changing the outcome are so remote that you should not waste this much emotion and effort towards.

That 0.7% is nearly 17,000 shareholders. That is 17,000 times the documents which have to be printed off and distributed during this process and is a ridiculous cost to the company. You should be happy with this decision because it will reduce the costs incurred by YOUR company during this process.
