A base load source is one that supplies electricity all the time. Let me repeat that in case you miss out: all the time. If you happen to be in the land of the midnight sun, sure you get sunlight for half a year at a time and you can use it as a base load power. But what about the other half of the year when you are covered in darkness for 6 months? Can your batteries last you for 6 months? Even countries with 24 hour sun cannot claim it is a comprehensive power source that covers all their needs.

In Australia, what if you have consecutive winter undercast sky for a week in Sydney? Can your solar panels work? Nope. And if it doesn't blow? Your wind mills are dead too. How much electricity does Sydney, the city that never sleep consume? How big a battery farm do you need to power it for even a day without energy generation?

Quit trying to redefining what a base load source is. Bold and caps don't give your statement anymore credence. Vested interest = distorted facts? If you want to make money investing, get out of the 95% mentality.
