I'm not so sure this one is a troll as more recently he has started to react 'Suggest you keep your mouth closed' or 'put a sweaty sock in it' + a few more. Also there is a pompous element frequently - I think it's just someone who wants to be heard and respected and doesn't understand why that is not happening....have to suspect it's more of a deep rooted personality trait than anything intentional which is a shame.
Nothing more than a T in my view but hopefully he can see the light and change his ways so people do listen.
