Ann: BOQ delivers improved first half profit, page-39

The BOQ specialist lending is becoming a bigger part of their business. From my industry experience specialists don't buy anything after mid-November, go on holiday through January and only get back into the swing of things from February. From this perspective they only have a few months of full lending in this division in H1. 2nd half includes EOFY sales, as well as everyone being on deck. Probably need to wait and see the full year results but I can reason why management would expect it to be better.
