    So you're predicting a LOM of ~10 years? No wonder then that someone asked: What's next after NEXT?

    Actually, new technologies are constantly coming on line throughout the mining process. This includes autonomous vehicles which will feature prominently in any undersea venture.

    Whereas the solvent exchange technology of REE separation has been largely static; little has changed since Bochinski's dissertation in the 50's and, as a chemist, I don't see much wiggle-room to do so. Not saying it won't happen, but in the next ten years? Extremely unlikely. More likely would be incremental improvements to the current process, like what Lynas is already doing.

    I wish someone had asked about the LOM or plans for AP ore.
