    I agree, Froggy. Strict cockpit discipline is important also, and Australians and the Brits were the best in that respect, IMO. Only takes one slip....... I remember a fatal airliner crash in the US many years back, I think it was Delta.
    The cockpit voice recorder revealed that the crew were discussing the physical attributes of a certain hostess while doing their checks during taxiing....... and failed to select take off flap. The aircraft couldnt maintain altitude after takeoff and crashed on a highway. Tragic.
    Yep, Qantas has the best record...... hope they can keep it that way.
