I said it wasn’t a financial liability. Ie not in the scope of AASB 139 (soon to be AASB 9). It won’t be settled in cash or other financial assets. It is still a liability. My point was the company, and their auditor, don’t know what it is and therefore are providing the wrong disclosures.
