as a recovering stockaholic , the number of times I have topped up in AVI(.015,.013) , has indeed put me to the edge . of course AVI is now STM Sunstone what a nice name , meaning aventurine feldspar. this is what I like about living on the stock market...you need to know soo much company law ,geology ,accounting ,charting ,psychology etc.etc. over the years STM has hit highs of .045,.055, .056 which seem to be a resistance level . I have placed a stop profit at .055. ....just ring your broker a place a sell order at .055 ,set and forget. in my opinion in the twilight world of the living dead some rules do not apply ....to whit ..stop losses ,my stop loss is $0 I don't place a buy order where I am not happy to lose 100%. .... and losers average losers ....I worship dollar cost averaging. now these rules are biggies so be sure to ask your mother first. have I said I have forgotten STM and whatever it does.
