yeah, the poor could afford TVs and processed food... but not good housing, medical or dental care... I never forget my last trip to country USA, few years ago... how many americans were without front teeth?
The poor are really doing well...that is why we have mass immigration and "Caravans" from South America, Africa, and the Middle east...
I know when I was a young lad in the 70s, my mob were working class, we feasted on king prawns, lobsters top quality beef...etc all good stuff from this great blessed land... we all had jobs, houses and cars... it was great days...
My Children had a good time also during the Hawke Keeting days and thrived in Howard 11 years... All had secure jobs or sound businesses...
Today, after a decade of free markets and globalisation... the millennials in my mob are in deep sh*t... Casual no ongoing jobs, no housing... waiting for daddy or Mummy to back them with the bank or kick the bucket...
they feast on tinned fish, fast noodles and junk food.. the other day at the family easter BBQ I asked a few if they tasted Abolony or Lobster? not one of them had the pleasure of enjoying the goodies of their country it all goes to the nice people in Asia...
Should I continue and talk about homeless people... bankruptcy shyrocketing level... the long queues of people in financial strife. It is a mess... and untop of all that young australians have to putup with the worst political elitest class I've seen in this country..
PS: yes all of my youngies have $900 Iphones and fast cars.......that is their world .....
