Rumours swirling Rio makes copper discovery in the Patterson Province, page-19

Didn't even know Folly existed until it was mentioned in the Ann for the 2018 Citadel program.


There appears to be ONE previous drill hole into the Folly anomaly. Anyone have data on it?



I haven't researched the area at all so these comments don't carry too much weight. 2016 IP tests were inconclusive in the western Citadel area - deep cover from memory. Such deep cover (if present) would IMO make soil geochemistry "problematic'. Why this would be considered a favourable statigraphic and structural setting is worth a few moments thought in light of the "discovery" rumours but I could only speculate with very little idea of what it means.

The ground to the west of Citadel in this area is under application to Rio. Rio have a narrow slither of granted tenements not too far North of here- see annotated magnetic map above but note the Rio boundary is approximate.

In my previous post I mentioned some seismic lines.
Traverse 96-05 looks like it gives some idea of the depth to basement west of Folly. Not actual metres but likely to be in the hundreds if not thousands of metres to Proterozoic basement under most of the Rio Application along this line.
