I agree with that first paragraph and think that is a brilliant summary of the last 12 months, the last 6 in particular.
There were a group of 'hearts' and others who really started talking this stock up very positively based on a few quotes from the company and historical workings from the land they acquired. These people really sold the story well to many here and it really gained traction quickly. After all, who doesn't like a great story that tells of money to be made. I don't see them around as often now though.
Most of these people were claiming things such as 'we have the best grades', 'we have the best resource', 'everyone will want a piece of us', 'everyone will wish they were us', 'everyone will be jealous of us', and it is so easy to get sucked in, join in, and believe the hype. The identity mentioned in the quote above even came onto a thread of a company I still hold claiming they knew why it was overlooked by many people, had nothing to back it up and couldn't provide a reason, so if they were 'trolling' related companies, what does it say about them in general (the post was modded but I found/find it hilarious). It is even easier to believe the hype when the shareprice is rising rapidly (which isn't always an accurate indicator of a company's fair value, otherwise what would be the point in researching to choose one company over another). I have been caught up in this before and it really sucks. I've also bought into another cobalt explorer previously, backing in the historical results and these came back as 'dusters', they don't always guarantee success, it's the risk you take at this end of the market.
I'm not trying to anger people here or tell you 'I told you so', because it is way too early to be doing that. Just pointing out something I have seen a few times in the past couple of years and been on the wrong end of myself before. Sometimes they fall back to virtually nothing and you are thankful you cut your losses when you didn't feel comfortable with the story, sometimes you end up being right and vindicated if you are patient enough (or vice versa for both of these).
I'm certainly not offering advice to anyone reading, just saying how I see things having been watching this unfold since the acquisition. Many people refer to Tolga and how he has such a good track record, he sure does. They also say he always gets it right, he has admitted in interviews he hasn't, everyone stuffs up from time to time. All successful people stuff up, but they learn from it, have another go, and get better, Tolga is a testament to this I think.
More relevant to this IMO, sometimes you think the odds are in your favour, but it just doesn't turn out to be. But keep picking opportunities that the odds are in your favour and more often than not you should be rewarded, maybe this is the one that doesn't get rewarded, simple as that. Tolga may have some influence on the shareprice due to his prominence, but he probably doesn't control the shareprice. Maybe he thought being able to raise that much cash at that price a few months ago was a great deal for the company and it's shareholders, that is his job after all. It looks like a great deal for shareholders now.
Obviously it is too early to tell if this is one where the odds simply don't end up falling his (and holders') way, nothing is certain in this game.
Just because a poster isn't talking a stock up, doesn't indicate they are a 'troll', 'downramper' or a 'shorter'. There are certainly many 'trolls' around and they generally ignore valid points that are debated to them and it is absolutely frustrating, but it is easy to make them look silly if you have the evidence to disprove them. At the moment there simply isn't much evidence to disprove anyone saying that EUC has been and is possibly still is overvalued based on what has happened so far.
I'm hoping for all holders' sake that the drill bits will help prove a different story soon and it all works out well for you, if not then it will likely take further drilling results and/or progress on another project to get things moving back up.
