No I don't think they in the wrong, perhaps a little heavy handed, no different to the scissor case. I have extended family who are police officers in qld and it's a bloody hard gig to balance public expectations with arresting an out of control youth. This is the age of ice which makes policing that much harder. Cameras everywhere also makes it tough. My original point was the fact this other guy was African and the usual reaction in HC was that he's a baddy and the police should have gone in harder. The stomp for me was crossing the line, as was the continual battening of the guy In Byron after being cuffed. Not a hanging offence though just more training.
