I apologise if this isn't the appropriate place to share this. It's a bit bittersweet for me; my grandmother who fought very hard against a life-threatening disease was in the hospital for the past few months and I unfortunately lost her today. To me, personally, seeing a company like Imugene make such a positive transition towards finding a cure for cancer and their sheer dedication makes me so much more motivated to stay invest in this company.
We decided it was time to give back to the community and considering todays success allowed me the opportunity to give some back to the community; towards academic research and in hopes the Immunology industry does well to improve and prolong the lives of many. I'm sorry to my fellows here to share this sob story with you. But considering how today has been so bitter-sweet; I felt the need to discuss the importance of authentic Medical Research. Especially considering the recent Bio-Tech manipulations that came to light; such as the Theranos startup scam. I'm very proud to have invested in a company with such intellectual and honest leadership.
Leslie and her team are doing a splendid job of keeping the public informed and have my complete faith that their findings will help come to fruition.
