Aussie sledging is workplace harassment....they wanted the stump mikes turned down so they could go for broke.
If they had just shown up and played cricket, would any of this had happened?
If Warner hadn't put this stuff about 'reacting to a wife sledge' out into the public domain, would any of this have happened?
Seems like all Aussies are in a world of hurt now over the remarkable implosion of their 'mentally tough' bully team. Now its tears and hand-wringing about the poor, poor players. The rest of the world looks on bemused at what they've done to themselves.
Will anyone ever take Aussie sledging seriously again? I believe the appropriate response would be to burst out laughing if a 'big, tough' Aussie tried a bit of sledging. We've gone from 'The Crying Captain' to 'The Crying Country'.
The ACA's Greg Dyer said any decision on appealing against the sanctions would be a personal matter for each player.
"I think Australia cried with Steve Smith last Thursday, I certainly did."
