Are you telling me there are different bibles, if scholars can't translate it accurately into one bible, what makes you think you can understand it by yourself.
You might say through the Holy Spirit, so the Holy Spirit is not working with the bible translators then??
Under what authority do you workout that the Holy Spirit was active with a particular translation.
It seems your trying to predetermine where you think I might be coming from and getting the wrong end of the stick.
I wasn't inquiring to have a dig and neither am I saying or suggesting your wrong regarding your points to Mr G.
I didn't see the second Father used in the verse in my KJV and neither in the Greek interlinear, hence I was curious.
And just in case you think otherwise, I am always interested in seeing what others think, how they come to their conclusions (verse ref), I then look at them and search linked verses (all I can find) then effectively lay them on the table and let God do the talking so to speak. So I'm not pig headed enough to say I know it all.
Your telling me their are different Bibles and if you think there all error-less, then I suggest think again. The KJV has it's faults, just and many others do, hence why I say we need to dig up as many verses as possible.
And I can tell you with certainty, "some" translations are definitely trinity influenced, no question about it.
I forget the key areas as it's been a while since investigating that area, but there are the odd verses that are screamingly obvious and this I picked up when I was still a trinity follower.
Matt 28:19 is a clear example that things are adrift, baptize in the name of, Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
This was a standout (bells started ringing) before researching as there are so many verses against it, Acts 2:38, 8:12, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5, 22:16, Rom 6:3, 1 Cor 1:13 (implied), Gal 3:27 and Col 2:12 gives a grasp of what should be a well.
Mind you, if one grasps the true meaning of what being baptized in Jesus's name, it effectively includes God and his Spirit, The Holy Spirit.
But to use this verse as many do, to "try" and suggest is means 3 separate beings, persons or the likes, then that is Not of God.
Meaning, God's word is Spirit and if one distorts them, then effectively you have tested the Spirit as where expected to and you know from whence that person is from. Even though it was probably not their intention, however we are warned about the angel of light, mimic of Almighty God's, the true light (Word) John 1:9.
