No new major partner announcements this calendar year and all you get is three paragraphs on a hook up with Tigerair?

APT and Z1P are in the middle of one huge land grab for partners where their customers can spend. Have you seen the list of partners APT has? p23 of the H1 APT results presentation gives an insight. Compare this with Z1P and you'll see this is virtually a 1 horse race.

Airlines are extremely sophisticated cost conscious businesses and Tigerair (a Virgin Australia subsidiary), would have screwed Z1P to the floor on fees for this deal. As will any other airline who follows. There was no mention of exclusivity which is another bad sign.

This either smacks of desperation or it's a big loss-leader to buy turnover volume for Z1P.
