There isn't a particularly large percentage of MSB shorts in the scheme of things. https://www.shortman.com.au/stock?q=MSB
You also have to admit that when there's good news those dreaded shorters have to buy back in leading to more Buy demand (anti shorts if you like). You rarely mention that.
If you want to look at shorters really having a go have a look at the shorting history for A2M. What's happened to them?
The problem for MSB and the share price is that over time there just hasn't been enough good news.
