None of the Christians on HC will bother, so just for the record I think you will find that it is "Christ" that means Messiah not Jesus.

Jesus seems to mean something like "saves" or "Jehovah saves" or "saviour" etc and may well have been used to describe various Jewish dissidents or rebel leaders.
However, none of these would have been considered candidates for Messiah unless they passed all the other strict requirements.

-your right christ means saviour in hebrew while jesus was as common as smith is in western society or mohammad in far east. typed bit fast my apologies.
and yes i know what christians can be like. they like to make out all other denominations are close-minded.
