would like to suggest the discussion topic for this weekend being how people tackle the problem of research and analysis. What sort of things do they look for in deciding the FA of a Co? I am sure there are lots of different approaches.



Tech-wreck - a year in review (From Techmeister)

2 years ago there was a interesting array of promising new tech listings on the ASX - virtually every single one is now on its knees - which raises a number of questions:

1) were any of them genuine - or were they all to early; too vague; too weak...?

2) has the ASX stopped allowing early stage tech to list? as there have been precious few new ones lately?

3) can the ASX nurture a young tech listing? has it got the right investors? the right $? the right market?

4) where to from here for tech on the ASX?

5) perhaps BUD is the shining example of one tech company that can make it - what insights can we glean from this?
