I am not a pessimist but realist who, like you weighs up pros and cons. But reading through your comments over the past week or so, it looks like you are really asking for something to go wrong to justify your caution.
The vax is safe and on top of it the immune system response in a patient is its own produced response, if the immune system produces side effects it is not the drug's fault. IMU just re-activates a switched off system or stimulates the first switch on.
And to ease your concerns further, I have never come across any drugs or even food with a guarantee that it will never cause any side effects. Hey, let's ban bananas - they make me fart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
