if your story is true that is crazy..
1. tis illegal to hang onto another's baby without a court order or a foster carer authority.. ( i htink the limit is one week or similar)
2. if your student had gone to welfare they would have assessed her suitability and authorised her and paid for everything bub needed!
3. carer would also be looked after for allowances from centrelink and birth mum would be cut off... fair's fair?!
