Some excellent posts on here the last few days and I love to hear the sound of that war drum being beaten.
Wini I love the enthusiasm but a mass exodus of the loyal would benefit only the sharks. No, the route we must take is one of rebellion, the board has failed us for too long. However now is not the time.
Soon one way or another we will have a new MD/CEO something that frankly is critical to us moving forward. Currently we have Hartley working 12 days a month, of which I'm sure he's not doing a minute extra, a secratary who sits across multiple businesses and a receptionist who seems from phone calls to know nothing about anything to do with the company. Pushing for an EGM now would only serve to delay any progress, continue this shambles and potentially scare away any prospective leaders.
We must give the new guy time to sort out this sh!t show then we whitewash the board at the AGM. All of them and start fresh. The Olympian conglomerate controls substantial voting rights and along with the rest of us we may have some sway, but realistically we're going to need the big 3 and the shopfitters on board as well.
Sometimes the leadership are not bad leaders they are simply the wrong leaders for the time. Our current leaders are the wrong leader for this time, we need a leader ready for war.
