Be interesting to see how both parties policies evolve on this in the lead up to the next election. I read yesterday that Labor are looking at a $5K cap on cash franking credits.
Unless something like this is done this proposal will affect a lot of people that are too poor to pay much tax but don't want to accept the pittance banks pay on deposits.
