They won't be cashed up. The proposed plan is to split it off, not sell it. This means that WES won't receive any money but rather WES shareholders will receive new shares in the new entity.
The greater ROC may help facilitate WES raising new funds but that's the only benefit from a new aquisitions point of view.
Also I suspect they'd be more likely to buy MQGs share if Quadrant Energy than OSH if they wanted more exposure to energy.
