@Sabbath ... you mirror my sentiments precisely.
It will be noted that tax free institutions and charities will be exempt. This therefore includes Bill Shorten’s non-tax paying Union mates .... Unions will be exempt!!!
The constant blow to our super fund is like a kick in the guts. We are fully self-funded (just) but it is getting harder and harder to grow our Fund so that we can live off it for another, say, twenty years. We didn’t live the high life early in our life ... we saved for our future ... to provide ourselves with a more than comfortable retirement. To those young ones here I will say that things in life don’t always pan out as they should or as you planned, or, even as you think you might deserve.
I’m over it ... maybe we’ll just sell up, give everything to the kids ... keeping enough to live on for five years ... then go on a Pension after buying a shack somewhere !!!
