I doubt many employees who "work for" IT would have any knowledge if deals/changes were taking place or progressing.
Employees would probably be buying shares if they were in the know.
Whichever bank it is, I'm sure only a handful of high up employees would know if something was happening.
Something in your reply actually makes me a little more confident it is Westpac too.
Let's hope we see them/other very soon.. would be nice if it is before the close date on SPP. Would be nice for a change if things worked in shareholders' favour, and we received a free kick as well as the big boys who got the raise.
1 other thing to consider for people thinking they will offload $15k worth if the price improves past 1.4 in the next week or so, to buy back at 1.25..
IF news hits, it would be well oversubscribed, and would only get a scaled back percentage of the amount ordered?
Hopefully people don't pull the trigger, thinking its a definite profit and regret it. Might not get them back! Will be a very interesting week or 2 ahead anyway.. and gives some confidence they are once again cashed up longer term, and I would expect clearly 1.3 a floor.
Also the fact it is fully underwritten shows the confidence, no doubt happy to slop up as many more as they can possibly get, at the bargain price, at the perfect time!?
Cbyrne.. love your constant negativity for the sake of it.. but surely you know credit card/Westpac is completely separate?
I'll go with Mastercard for sure (after Wi-Fi android sometime), and WBC
