I don't know why you expected an update on the proposed acquisition when VRX are clearly still in discussion with the ASX about it!
It will come when both sides are ready to announce it, and clearly the ASX have the final say these days.
The ASX seem to be taking a a more proactive part in such matters of late, the rules are tougher.
Calm the farm, I'm sure its all fine.
There is really no need to criticise the VRX management team when NONE of us are in possession of the full facts. I am sure they are working very hard and have our best interests in hand.
Arrowsmith project alone has the potential to propel the share price to new highs, those preliminary result which are in the half year report are very encouraging. We could be sitting on 200 million tons of glass quality silica.
So I consider the acquisition a bonus not be the all and end all of VRX.
