It is my expectation that a Pence administration would work to unwind the economic stupidity of US protectionism and tariffs. A key question at that point would be whether the Trump shake up will have been enough to make China and the EU see sense on their own protectionist agendas. I'm not hopeful on that front but we can only wait and see.
In the meantime it would be wise for the other Pacific countries to further streamline their proposed trade deal with free access to China, Japan and other Asian markets high on the agenda.
