They cant just 'sit and wait', there is a timeline, they are competing against each other, the parent isnt bleeding, and what evidence do you have that 'NZ staff are demotivated' ?
The price will be determined by how desperate the bidders are for the assets, there is nothing to suggest a lack of interest, quite the opposite in fact, 16 expressions of interest in the first round, at least 4 into the second round. Its more than i expected.
