This probably sounds crazy as my theories usually do, but check the timeline (thank you twitter and people liking each other on Twitter):
In 2013 when EcoQuest acquired Cynata Inc., a $5 mio CR fully underwritten by Forrest Capital and KTM Capital Pty Ltd helped securing the funds.
According to CB and his blog I found out that Forrest Capital and Martin Rogers are "buddies" (not sure I'm allowed to post a screenshot given that he has now "locked up" his blog). But Google will help you find it.
Martin Rogers is now the Chief Investment Officer at KTM Ventures Innovation Fund LP.
