I am not qualified to "peer review" a climate science paper, and would not "peer review" anything I AM qualified for unless I am there or try it. A "peer reviewed" paper even on something I am qualified for me is the lowest form of review. You have to actually, try something or witness how something is performed/how data is collected and compared... "peer reviewed paper" ... no I don't think that is the be all and end all.
Judith Curry belongs to the 97% of Scientists but is a skeptic, consider that for a minute without prejudice and I think you might find yourself looking for a ladder to join me on the fence. Oil companies have not organised themselves anywhere near as well as the politicians behind ......said science.
