    Hahahahaha - your “understanding” of my post is precisely backwards. Stop, take a step back and think about what that bell curve you just drew a neat line through signifies. Then give yourself an uppercut.

    If you’re still struggling, I’ll spell it out for you. The curve tells you how much of the signal comes from a given altitude. So what you’ve just neatly demonstrated is that at the equator, damn near half of all the signal in the TLT band is coming from below the tropopause.
