Tristanc just a quickie for you mate. Dont have time to fact check what I post!
You basically allude to a incorrect use of strato data.
So thank you for bringing to my attention of the cross contamination when USING GLOBAL DATA. (not)
Really! Any other day of the week i would be told I was CHERRY PICKING for using anything other THAN Globally averaged data!
I am very well aware of the weighting applied!
You and mjp2 in this instance have conveniently ignored the IPCC, NOAA and NASA assessment on using no doubt the same data sources I have. For which they tell and allude to Water Vapour is not increasing in the STRATOSPHERE.
FOR CHRISTS sake fellas. Argue WITH the IPCC, NOAA, NASA and not me. I am just the MESSENGER
So in regards to your view that using GLOBAL data is NOT right for this instance I AM HAPPY to use a different data set. Would you think a data set based from the TROPICS would be sufficient?
So to appease you and others I will use the best available Long term Stratospheric temp data I can get that align with your concerns of contaminated data via the different stratospheric Geo-potential Height differences. So here is the same data data that NOAA NASS and the IPCC see?
Please NOTE that RSS have also very recently adjusted there data to align with
NASA and
NOAA
So please do not whine about the data
